Brisbane law firm Bennett & Philp Lawyers has promoted two, in a move to bolster its property and real estate practice.
SME firm Bennett & Philp Lawyers has promoted one senior associate and one associate, both within its property and real estate team.

Mitch Fitzsimmons has been promoted to senior associate and has more than eight years of legal experience, having previously worked at BigLaw firm Piper Alderman. He works across a range of high-value commercial transactions, high-volume residential and commercial developments, and a broad range of commercial and industrial leasing matters for ASX-listed companies, high-net-wealth individuals and leading property institutions.
Caitlin McNamara has been promoted to associate and has been with the firm for more than two years. She works across both small- and large-scale residential and commercial developments and transactions, has a background in town planning, holds a bachelor’s degree (honours) in regional and town planning, and works on various planning and environment matters and disputes.
“Both promotions are in recognition of their efforts, expertise and client-centric focus, and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to achieve great things,” the firm said in a statement.
