30 Under 30 winner promoted to director
Adelaide firm WRP Legal & Advisory has promoted four, including one award-winning senior associate to director.
WRP Legal & Advisory has elevated four in a new year promotions round, including Stephen Annicchiarico to director.
He regularly advises ASX-listed companies and some of Australia’s largest start-ups and has extensive experience in trademarks, copyright, confidential information, intellectual property commercialisation, brand protection, technology transactions, and other matters such as financial services, privacy, competition and consumer law. He is also a director of multiple technology companies.
The firm has also promoted Frank Trimboli to senior associate and Alice Watson and Christos Matsoukas to associate.
Mr Trimboli regularly appears in courts in various jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court and the Federal Court of Australia. He has also acted in several interstate jurisdictions.
Ms Watson joined WRP Legal & Advisory in 2021 as a law clerk and has since been elevated to lawyer and now associate. She has worked on a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters, including corporation law, corporate governance, and business structuring and compliance with legislative requirements.
Lastly, Mr Matsoukas has been promoted within the corporate, commercial and property law team and possesses degrees in law and accounting.
Remarking on the promotions, WRP Legal & Advisory chief executive Wayne Haskard said the firm has been continuing to grow its business operations since being established in 2015.
“These latest promotions are a positive start to the year and in line with our business objectives. At WRP Legal & Advisory, our executive team focuses on creating a positive culture, where our lawyers are supported to hone their skills and develop practical expertise,” he said.
“There is no greater accomplishment in leadership than developing and retaining exceptionally talented staff. Stephen, Frank, Alice and Christos are positioned to continue their contribution and success at WRP Legal & Advisory.”
