NDA Law adds senior associate from BigLaw firm
South Australian boutique advisory firm NDA Law has hired an associate from BigLaw practice Hall & Wilcox.
Ollie Fragnito has joined NDA Law, boosting capacity in the firm’s civil litigation team.
Mr Fragnito, the firm said in a statement, will have a particular focus on building and construction front-end advisory and disputes and support NDA’s growing tax and estate planning areas, as well as assisting businesses and individuals to resolve complex commercial issues.
The news follows the firm’s promotion of two lawyers in June last year to associate director and senior associate, respectively.
In early 2021, the firm’s managing director, Joshua Michaels, and founder and member of Parliament in South Australia, Andrea Michaels, appeared on The Boutique Lawyer Show to discuss how and why smaller practices can compete on the national stage, in the same way that global firms are expected to.
Speaking about the appointment, Mr Michaels said that NDA Law is currently experiencing high growth in the commercial and civil ligation practice as tightening economic conditions see an increase in the risk of insolvencies and disputes.
“Demand for dispute resolution services and litigation advice is rising due to the current climate, and we expect this will continue throughout 2024,” he outlined.
“Our team leads the way in this area. Ollie’s expertise and commercial knowledge will be an asset to all clients, especially individuals and SMEs looking to resolve issues quickly and efficiently before resorting to the courts.”
