Rosie Francis (pictured) has joined FAL Lawyers, having come across from QR Lawyers, where she served for nearly seven years, commencing as a law clerk.

She specialises, the firm said in a statement, in general commercial litigation, insolvency, and commercial law and “brings an abundance of experience and a proven track record of excellence to our dynamic legal team”.

Ms Francis “significantly enhances the FAL’s capabilities in insolvency and litigation”, the firm proclaimed.

The news follows the firm’s hire of a special counsel from BigLaw firm Clayton Utz as a new partner back in November and its promotion of a senior associate to its partnership in September of last year.

Speaking about the hire, FAL partner Chloe Moorfoot said: “We are thrilled to welcome Rosie to our team.

“We are excited to integrate her insights and proficiency into our team, further solidifying our position as leaders in providing comprehensive legal services.”

As the vice-president of Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Victoria, the firm added, Ms Francis “exemplifies strong female leadership, aligning seamlessly with the principles of diversity and excellence at FAL”.
