Adelaide-based firm Lynch Meyer Lawyers has appointed a special counsel from a local rival as its newest partner, who will head up its property team.
Yari McCall (pictured) has joined Lynch Meyer as a partner, continuing the boutique firm’s year of substantial growth.
She was previously with Norman Waterhouse for nearly two decades, including over two years as a social counsel and 12 years as a senior associate.
Her “significant experience” in property, major infrastructure and development projects, the firm said in a statement, will strengthen the firm’s “pre-eminent position and reputation” in the Adelaide property market.
The news follows the firm’s appointment of a partner to head up its commercial team earlier this month, a new senior associate for its construction, infrastructure, and engineering team at the start of November, a new construction partner in July, and a family law partner back in January.
Speaking about Ms McCall’s appointment, Lynch Meyer partner James Neate said: “Yari brings a wealth of property experience to offer our clients.
“Our firm has a long history in the property industry in South Australia, having been involved in some of South Australia’s major property development projects, some comprising entire suburbs.
“We are also excited to add another dynamic female lawyer to the firm’s growing partnership.”
