Prank leaves streakers cold

In a case of being caught red handed, naked, cold, and without a getaway, three men who went streaking through a restaurant in sub-zero temperatures watched in shock as a thief drove away in their car.

Post the failed operation, the three nude youngsters shivered as they huddled behind cars awaiting the relief of a warm police car seat.

The three had entered a restaurant in Spokane, Washington early in the morning wearing only shoes and hats. Leaving their car running to make a quick escape, the trio was shocked to see one of the restaurant’s customers drive off in it.

No charges were brought against the streakers but police spokesman Dick Cottam took the opportunity to teach the public a lesson. “We always tell people not to leave their car running,” he said.
