Ashley Lamb (pictured) has been appointed as the firm’s new CEO, having come over from Thynne + Macartney Lawyers, where he has served since 2005 in various capacities, including most recently as its general manager.

Mr Lamb is an “innovative and progressive leader”, the firm said in a statement, and brings “strong commercial acumen, proven successful strategy implementation, and a demonstrated commitment to staff wellbeing”.

Coleman Greig has been in operation for over 95 years and has offices across Sydney in Parramatta, Norwest Baulkham Hills, Penrith, Sydney CBD, and Campbelltown-Macarthur.

Speaking about the appointment, Coleman Greig principal director Adam West said: “Ashley’s drive and enthusiasm will guide our firm’s ongoing provision of premier commercial and personal legal services and commitment to supporting the evolving needs of businesses and individuals.”

Firm principal director and head of commercial litigation Caroline Hutchinson added: “Coleman Greig is proud to be celebrating 95 years this year. We are confident Ashley is the ideal leader to continue the firm’s notable legacy.”

And Mr Lamb noted: “I am excited to be joining Coleman Greig Lawyers and lead them into the next stage of their evolution.”

“There are significant opportunities for the firm to grow and partner with clients as the legal sector adapts to changes in technology and the economy, and I believe Coleman Greig is well positioned to capitalise on these.”

Mr Lamb will commence in his new role today (Monday, 21 August).
