Taurus Legal Management has added a new partner to its ranks with the appointment of Ian Bracken (pictured).

Mr Bracken brings, the firm said, “a huge amount of experience in the commercial and property space”, having worked in top-tier firms in Australia and Dubai prior to launching his own boutique firm.

His appointment “is a big win for a small firm like ours”, Taurus noted.

“It is with great pleasure that we introduce Ian Bracken to our firm as property and commercial partner. Ian is a top-tier lawyer specialising in project finance, property development and corporate law,” the firm said in a statement.

“Having worked in large law firms, as well as running his own practice in regional Victoria, Ian brings a wealth of property and corporate law experience to our clients and our team.”

“Ian’s strong reputation and extensive experience will deepen our firm expertise and broaden our relationships in the vital areas of property and commercial law.”

Prior to joining Taurus, Mr Bracken was the principal of Bracken Lawyers in Castlemaine, Victoria, for over four years and has also served as a senior associate at Robertson Hyetts and Hogan Lovells, as well as being a lawyer at Clayton Utz.

Speaking about his new role, Mr Bracken said that he had incorporated the practice of the boutique bearing his name into Taurus, at which he will be a property and commercial partner.

“It’s an exciting move for me, and I look forward to developing new relationships and mentoring the Taurus team,” he said.

“Whilst I help grow the firm in Melbourne, I will continue to provide legal services to Central Victoria and remain committed to the local community with Taurus providing additional resources and service capability.”

“It has been a great journey, and now it is time to continue my career journey with Taurus Legal Management. I am so pleased to be part of their vision and capabilities.”
