Company (Giles) adds Kennedys senior partner to its ranks
Prominent boutique reputational risk firm Company (Giles) has appointed a former senior partner from global law firm Kennedys, whom firm founder Rebekah Giles called “one of the best legal minds in this country”.
Patrick George, who was a senior partner at Kennedys for 17 years and, before that, a partner at MinterEllison for 18 years, has joined Company (Giles).
Mr George joins as a principal and is, Company (Giles) noted, “a trusted adviser to some of Australia’s most high-profile individuals, including two former prime ministers, a range of global celebrities and business leaders”.
Speaking about the appointment, Ms Giles said: “It is a privilege to be reunited with my long-term mentor and collaborator.
“Patrick George is one of the best legal minds in this country. He is a leader of the profession — globally renowned for his technical excellence and strategic judgement.
“I am constantly inspired by his passion for the law and its evolution. I am delighted to commence our 20th year of practice together.”
Mr George added: “I very much look forward to working with Rebekah again.

Mr George commenced with the firm on Friday, 31 March.
