Kathryn Milczewski (pictured) has joined Lawganised, bringing with her “extensive” experience in legal practice management, having been the operations manager of a boutique law firm on the Gold Coast for the past two years, as well as having held key operational and management roles in firms in Australia and the United Kingdom.

She has been appointed, Lawganised said in a statement, to increase its capacity to assist the increasing trend of small- to medium-sized legal practices seeking assistance in the best practice operations of their firms.

Lawganised director and chief organiser Ben Deverson said that the consultancy had entered the new year continuing its growth from 2022.

“Our unique offering to small- to medium-sized legal practices has gained significant momentum in the last three years. Principals now have the ability to seek executive-level support at a fraction of the cost of permanent staff,” he proclaimed.

“Kathryn’s experience as an operations manager of a boutique legal practice, her talent for identifying simple solutions to complex challenges by analysing systems, processes and data and [her] record of success with coaching and mentoring others make her a perfect fit, increasing our capability to service our rapidly growing client base.”

Speaking about her appointment, Ms Milczewski said she was “keen to hit the ground running” as she joins the busy team at Lawganised.

“Having spent my career growing in legal management positions, I am looking forward to collaborating with Lawganised’s SME clients and approaching each firm’s issues and challenges by providing a new perspective,” she said.

“Lawganised has become extremely well known as the provider of personal and practical levels of support within the legal profession, and I am extremely excited to be joining Ben and the team as we continue to support our clients.”

Mr Deverson added that it is the Lawganised vision to “change the lives of law firm principals”.

With additional capability within the team, he said, it “ensures we can continue to deliver that promise to as many principals as possible and provide the close-knit quality service we provide ourselves on”.

Mr Deverson added that, “now with six experienced team members, Lawganised boasts close to 100 years of collective wisdom in managing and operating successful law firms”.

“Our scale ensures that when we are appointed to support the operations of a law firm, we can become part of that firm’s fabric, not be a consultant that sits in a closed meeting room only crunching numbers,” he submitted.

“Being entrenched within a firm’s culture, knowing the people, the systems they use and the challenges they face ensures we can develop the tailored solutions each firm needs.”
