Erin Steward is set to join the team of consultants in a move set to bolster the group’s capability in supporting small and medium businesses in Australia and across the globe.

Ms Steward brings extensive experience in legal practice management.

Most recently, she was the chief executive of boutique law firm Nyst Legal, based in the Gold Coast, for two years. She has also held key positions in operational and management roles in both the hospitality and retail sectors.

The appointment comes as director and chief organiser Ben Deverson stated rapid growth experienced by Lawaganised throughout 2022 with an exclusive focus on “operations and day-to-day management of a legal practice” of small to medium legal practices.

“Our unique offering to small- to medium-sized legal practices has gained significant momentum in the last three years. Principals now have the ability to seek executive-level support at a fraction of the cost of permanent staff,” he said.

“Erin’s experience as a CEO of a boutique legal practice, her eye for detail and deep analytical and financial expertise make her a perfect fit and increases our capability to service our rapidly growing client base.”

Mr Deverson further highlighted how the appointment of Ms Steward would create additional capacity so that the group is able to deliver on its key objectives.

“When we are appointed to support the operations of a law firm, we want to become part of that firm’s fabric, not be a consultant that sits in a closed meeting room crunching numbers,” he said.

“Being entrenched within a firm’s culture, knowing the people, the systems they use and the challenges they face ensures we can develop the tailored solutions each firm needs.”

Speaking about the appointment, Ms Steward said she was “extremely excited” about her new role, stating that she was looking forward to assisting the team to provide small and medium legal practices with the support they need.

“After a career working in internal management positions, management consulting to legal practices has been a goal of mine for some time, and Lawganised has built a unique and extremely popular offering,” she said.
