FCW Lawyers has appointed Colin McCaul as a principal lawyer at the firm, who brings with him over 20 years of experience.

The Scottish-born property lawyer has worked with extensive clientele in Victoria, interstate and internationally.

His expertise has seen him advise in both residential and commercial matters, focusing on off-the-plan property, sales and acquisitions, commercial and retail leasing matters, joint venture and development agreements, finance and mortgage matters and property disputes.

Prior to joining FCW, Mr McCaul worked at Tisher Liner FC Law as a special counsel and before that at Thomson Geer, also as a special counsel.

FCW Lawyers chief executive Robert Patterson welcomed Mr McCaul, noting his commercial insight will help strengthen the firm’s property expertise.

“We’re very pleased that Colin has joined the team and look forward to adding his property expertise to the integrated legal solutions we are able to offer our clients, all under one roof,” Mr Patterson said.

Commenting on his new role, Mr McCaul said: “I am delighted to be joining FCW Lawyers and am very much looking forward to being a part of the team and assisting new and existing clients with their property matters.”
