Robinson Gill appoints property and commercial partner
Robinson Gill has appointed Serena Ding to partner and commercial and property practice group leader.
Ms Ding has years of domestic and international experience in property development and commercial law. She has helped many clients to develop property portfolios and establish flourishing businesses.
In an interview with Lawyers Weekly, Ms Ding discussed the way COVID has changed her work: “Most clients’ investment strategies have changed, from residential investment to commercial properties, or even agricultural lands in rural areas. There is more income stability in these investments.”
When asked about her way of work, Ms Ding reflected: “I provide high quality service with each client, achieving their demands and even exceeding their expectations.
“I’m not the kind of person that goes out and has dinner or drinks with clients, sitting and talking. I do my work and achieve for them. That’s what I’ve been doing for my whole career.”
Lu Cheng, principal at Robinson Gill, commented on her appointment: “With the continued expansion of our practice, it’s critical that we have the best people in the business at the helm.
“As our property department continues to grow, we are excited about the breadth of technical experience and cultural knowledge that Serena will bring to the team. We are thrilled to welcome her on board.”
Ms Ding also commented: “I am thrilled to be taking over the leadership of Robinson Gill’s property department. With such a strong reputation and growing presence in the Melbourne market, it’s an incredibly exciting time to join the firm.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team to deliver outstanding outcomes for both local and international clients in need of business and property solutions.”
