Hunt & Hunt promotes 2, bolsters Victorian operations
SME firm Hunt & Hunt has continued to grow its Victorian practice with the elevation of two principal lawyers.
Hunt & Hunt has continued to bolster its leadership team with the promotion of two of its Melbourne-based senior associates to principal: Jing Wang and Linda Hart.
“The elevation of Linda and Jing to principal is about recognising the exceptional talent of these two senior lawyers and enhancing their opportunities to drive the future direction of the firm,” he said.
“We’ve seen exponential growth in our business operations in Melbourne over the past three to four years, and the elevation of these two talented senior associates also reflect the growth in the diversity of our firm and client base.”
Since joining Hunt & Hunt in 2017 as head of China practice, Ms Wang has been a “key force” in maintaining and growing Hunt & Hunt’s status within the Chinese Australian business community. Ms Hart joined the firm in 2021 and has since taken on a managing role in the wills and estates team in Melbourne.
“Jing’s intimate knowledge of both the Chinese and Australian legal markets has been of critical value to our many clients who have invested and conducted business in both Australia and China,” Mr Raunic said.
“Linda has helped modernise and diversify the way we deliver our will and estates services to clients. She is also passionate about mentoring and developing our junior lawyers and has played an instrumental role in founding our Women at Hunt & Hunt Forum.”
The elevation of Jing and Linda headline a list of promotions for Hunt & Hunt Victoria. Mark Pennini and Marcus Fogarty become senior associates, and Helen Hodgins and Emily Clapp become associates.
“Mark, Marcus, Helen and Emily have shown more than just outstanding legal acumen, all four of these lawyers have shown through their work how well they encompass Hunt & Hunt’s key values and our philosophy of genuine people and practical solutions,” Mr Raunic added.
“These promotions to start FY 22/23 are by no means the completion of our firm rejuvenation. Watch this space as we seek to add more outstanding leaders to our firm, with the next focus being on our property and corporate and commercial teams. Our clients know that we are constantly adding youthful and diverse talent to our offering and our staff know we are prepared to promote outstanding talent early.”
