Attwood Marshall appoints new senior associate
Sydney and Gold Coast-based firm Attwood Marshall Lawyers has appointed a new senior associate against the backdrop of a spike in family law cases.
Attwood Marshall Lawyers said, in a statement, that it is expanding to meet the community’s needs and to help as many families as possible who are threatened with damaging legal disputes.
Carlu Booth has been appointed to the firm as senior associate. As a solicitor practising exclusively in family law, her focus will be on assisting clients in finding practical and cost-effective legal solutions, whether it be by negotiation and mediation or through court proceedings.
Ms Booth was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in early 2011. She is a member of the Queensland Law Society, the Family Law Practitioners Association, and the Gold Coast District Law Association.
“Family law is a complex area of law that requires a proficient and experienced practitioner to ensure disputes can be resolved quickly, minimising conflict as much as possible”, said Attwood Marshall Lawyers legal practice director Jeff Garrett.
“Attwood Marshall Lawyers offer comprehensive family law services by a team of highly skilled family lawyers. We are excited to have Carlu join the team and we know she will be an asset to our clients”, said Mr Garrett.
Mr Garrett concluded that “Carlu is acutely aware that each family law matter is as unique as each family, and she is driven to achieve the best outcome for her clients in a confidential and sympathetic environment”.
Ms Booth stated that she shares Attwood Marshall Lawyers’ intent to help people and change their lives for the better, as she finds it most rewarding to help families through tough times, for many, usually the most challenging time of their lives.
