FOUR NEW solicitors have joined the ranks at McInnes Wilson Lawyers, following their admissions to the Supreme Court of Queensland in mid-December. They are Rachel Debenham, Phil Lawlor, Jacqui Buckley, and Daniel Lavercombe.
Buckley, also a member of the plaintiff litigation team, joined the firm in November 2005 as a trainee solicitor, following a position as research assistant to Richard Lynch, barrister-at-law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology.
Previously a trainee solicitor in the insurance litigation team, Lavercombe has been under the supervision of practice chairman, Paul Tully, since joining the firm in January 2006. He also holds a bachelor of laws from the Queensland University of Technology.
Lawlor joined the firm in April 2004 as a plaintiff litigation law clerk for two years before moving to partner John Hamilton’s team, focusing on commercial, government and energy law. He holds a bachelor of laws, and is currently finishing a bachelor of arts in international relations and Spanish, from the Queensland University of Technology.
