BOUTIQUE WORKPLACE firm Carroll & O’Dea has appointed Anthony Powter as special counsel.

Powter assumes the new role in the firm’s employment and industrial relations team, where he specialises in workplace relations, equal opportunity, occupational health and safety, and employment law.

Powter has particular expertise in assisting clients in strategic workplace relations and making collective agreements, and resolving disputes arising in these areas. His clients include major corporations from a range of industries, particularly in the construction business.

During his career, Powter has gained a broad range of experience acting for individuals, employees and employers.
