The firm announced that Yudi New, a commercial litigator with extensive experience, has joined the litigation team after having operated his own litigation advisory business, where he consulted with some of Australia’s largest companies.

Managing principal Tony Raunic said Mr New’s focus would be on his client’s commercial objectives to “achieve outcomes consistent with their business goals”. He added this is perfectly aligned with Hunt & Hunt’s approach.

“Yudi’s experience as a litigator, business owner and client will further refine the quality and breadth of the services we can deliver to clients,” Mr Raunic said.

Mr New has worked with Commonwealth Bank of Australia, ANZ, ASIC, AMP and the Victorian government. He also has a passion for developing and mentoring young lawyers, which Mr Raunic said would help refine the skills of the team.

“Beyond his reputation as a commercial litigator, Yudi’s commercial focus on developing risk management strategies will ensure we can partner with our clients to strengthen their businesses,” Mr Raunic said.

“We look forward to Yudi being part of the continued growth of the Hunt & Hunt legal group in Victoria.”
