Providior adds new MD and CEO
Providior has appointed a new managing director and chief executive as part of its five-year strategic plan, in a move that will see the funding business “continue to grow in innovative ways”.

Jo Cope has been promoted to the role of managing director and CEO, having been at the company since 2019. Ms Cope has over 25 years of experience in finance, banking and leadership roles and was responsible for delivering exceptional growth across all aspects of the funding portfolio in her previous role, helping cement the company’s position in the Australian market.
“Jo’s wealth of experience will see Providior’s disbursement funding business continue to grow in innovative ways that meet client’s needs now and into the future,” he said.
“She has been instrumental in evolving our funding model over the past few years, which is why we are very pleased to appoint her to this role.”
Ms Cope added that clients’ needs would remain Providior’s key focus.
“Our clients trust us to deliver stable, transparent and cost-effective funding solutions so they can concentrate on their core business and continue to grow, and I’m looking forward to continuing working with them,” she said.
“Strategic partnerships and the rollout of new products that solve real needs will always be our focus.”
