MACDONNELLS LAW has appointed four new lawyers and a migration agent through its offices in Queensland.
Dave Cheng has experience in a range of commercial and property law matters, including property and business acquisition and disposal, leasing, business venture structuring, risk management and post-establishment issues. He has acted for small to medium businesses, private and listed property developers, franchisers and franchisees. Cheng is also fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and Taiwanese Chinese dialects.
Dhakshmi Sivanthan has experience in a wide range of family law matters including matrimonial, de facto and children’s matters. She can assist clients both in the negotiation stages of a matter, through to litigation, and has experience in commercial and property law. Sivanthan speaks fluent Tamil.
Talayeh Saidi advises on commercial law matters, including leasing, property transactions, banking and finance, and business sales and purchases particularly within the hospitality industry. She also speaks fluent Farsi (Persian).
Registered migration agent Jodie Miller has particular experience with family and business immigration matters, both temporary and permanent. Miller has experience working in the area of migration, previously having worked for both an accounting firm and a specialist migration firm. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business through James Cook University and is a member of the Migration Agents Registration Authority and the Migration Institute of Australia.
