20 most-read SME law stories of 2021
Here, we count down the most popular stories for boutique law firm leaders and sole practitioners in the last 12 months.
The Boutique Lawyer Show, produced by Lawyers Weekly, saw extraordinary growth during 2021 (see top 10 most downloaded episodes for this year here).
Speaking about the year that was in the SME demographic of Australia’s legal profession, Lawyers Weekly deputy editor Jerome Doraisamy said that, in ongoing turbulent times, understanding and appreciating how best to not only serve clients but build a successful practice remains front of mind for boutique lawyers.
“While our audience has been consistently tuned in for stories about firm acquisitions and growth updates, there has remained significant appetite for the success stories of practitioners – learning from peers about what works and doesn’t work is always popular,” he said.
“Deducing how best to ensure that one’s firm can thrive in the post-pandemic new normal is a foremost consideration for boutique law firm leaders, and learning from thought leaders in the profession is fundamental to such progress.”
