NEW ZEALAND firm Hesketh Henry has appointed two lawyers to its corporate and commercial division.

Liesl Knox has joined the team as a senior solicitor. Her expertise includes drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, such as outsourcing arrangements, supply terms, confidentiality agreements, white label agreements and advising on advertising and marketing campaigns.

Knox has experience in the retail banking arena, in particular advising on all aspects of retail banking products, including consumer credit facilities, issuer/acquirer products and systems, new product development and compliance issues.

Knox also has experience advising large banks and insurance companies on privacy and providing wholesale privacy audits of client systems and literature.

Kate Telford joins Knox in the corporate and commercial division as a solicitor. Her principal areas of practice are mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate and commercial law. Telford has extensive experience in advising both purchasers and vendors in relation to business asset and share sales. Before joining the firm, she practiced in both Australia and London.
