LAW FIRM Holding Redlich has appointed Sonia Borella as a partner in its Sydney office.

Borella specialises in mergers, joint ventures and acquisitions, film and television production projects, intellectual property, trade practices and broadcasting issues.

She began working for the firm in 1998 as a summer clerk while studying for a law degree, before joining the firm as a lawyer in May 2000. Her appointment makes her the first partner in the Sydney office to have joined the firm as a summer clerk.

Borella’s clients include advertising and media buying agencies, television and radio licensees and production and post-production companies. She is an occasional lecturer at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, and she also performs pro bono work as a volunteer lawyer of the Arts Law Centre.
