TRUMAN HOYLE has expanded its communications law practice with the appointment of a senior in-house counsel to the Optus Group, Hamish Fraser as special counsel.
Fraser is a past president of the Queensland Society for Computers and the Law, and a frequent speaker on communications and technology issues, including for the Australian Information Industry Association.
“[Fraser’s] appointment will be of great benefit to both the firm and its growing list of communications and technology clients”, managing partner Shane Barber said.
“[Fraser] has considerable industry experience at the cutting edge of communications law and regulation in the Asia-Pacific region and will be highly sought after, not only by our commercial clients, but by the industry bodies and regulators we advise.”
