Hazelbrook Legal poaches Gilbert + Tobin lawyer
A senior lawyer from Gilbert + Tobin will make the move over to Hazelbrook Legal, where she will join as partner and lead its growing Sydney practice.

Following time with Gilbert + Tobin’s investment funds team, Lucy Adamson has joined Hazelbrook Legal’s team. Her appointment will strengthen the firms standing as a “complex corporate specialist” with sought-after financial services expertise.
Prior to Gilbert + Tobin, Ms Adamson worked in the financial services team at EY Law and in the corporate teams of Allen & Overy and Clayton Utz. Principal Hugh Griffin said her appointment is a “strategically important hire” and a testament to the firm’s reputation “as a great firm to work with and to do business with”.
“Lucy’s appointment demonstrates our commitment to the Sydney and wider domestic market and our focus on building out our capability to service this growing market,” he said. “It also shows Hazelbrook’s genuine commitment to supporting gender diversity at the most senior levels of the firm – as always, through actions.”
