NINE APPOINTMENTS have been made at MacDonnells Law, across the partner, senior associate and associate levels.

Four partners, three senior associates and two associates were appointed across the firm’s Queensland offices.

Matthew Bowen is a new partner practising in property, commercial, migration and business law, and is a registered migration agent. Fellow partner Julie Bosel joined the firm in 1999, and has experience in the commercial litigation and insolvency field, in addition to employment and industrial relations law.

Partner Luckbir Singh has expertise in commercial and corporate law, business succession planning, agribusiness, body corporate, banking and finance and property development. The fourth partner, Melinda Foley, practises predominantly in commercial litigation with experience in building and construction and employment law.

The new senior associates are Saul Holt, Mathew Deighton, and Terrence Trainor. The associates are Julian Brown and Dominic McMahon.

“We have a committed and skilled team of lawyers across the state and we’ve carefully selected nine people whose collective expertise and dedication will contribute significantly to the leadership of the firm,” MacDonnells CEO Lois Fordham said.

“I sincerely congratulate them, and all MacDonnells staff across the state, on their achievements and contributions to the firm’s continued success over the past financial year.”
