TWO LAWYERS have been welcomed by the Brisbane office of de Groots Wills & Estate Lawyers.

 
 

Cathy Piccolo has been appointed as lawyer to the estate administration team. She has specialised in succession law for the past 12 years, but prior to that she worked as a deceased estate administrator with Perpetual Trustees Queensland. She also has experience practising property, commercial and general litigation.

Fellow lawyer Kate McQueeney has been appointed in the estate planning team, bringing 12 years’ experience in estate planning and estate litigation. McQueeney is the past president of Women Lawyers Association of Tasmania, and a member of the Law Reform Institute Board and the Law Foundation. She was also the first woman appointed as a notary public in Tasmania under the Notaries Public Act 1990.
