LAW FIRM Garland Hawthorn Brahe has appointed Andrew Gunter as senior associate.

Gunter specialises in planning, local government, land acquisition and rating and valuation law. He practised law in New South Wales from 2000 to 2006 advising and conducting litigation in planning, property and liquor licensing.

Gunter commenced his professional career as the parliamentary researcher and adviser to Ted Mack MP, then federal member for North Sydney. He went on to serve on the North Sydney Council from 1995 to 1999.

“His detailed experience and knowledge of local government is a great advantage for our clients,” managing partner David Brahe said.
