TRESSCOX HAS announced the appointment of Mark Sheller as a partner in its Sydney office.

Sheller is an expert in professional indemnity insurance law generally, with a particular focus on accountants’ liability. He also acts for auditors in disciplinary matters and advises large financial and commercial clients on their insurance needs and in relation to a wide range of disputes.

Colin Porter, who joined the firm’s insurance sector in 2005, said in a statement that the appointment reflected the firm’s ambition “to take advantage of this period of change in the insurance sector and grow the strongest team to provide best service and value for money to insurers and their insured”.
