James Watt has been recruited by the firm, joining its Wollongong office as an associate.

Mr Watt brings significant expertise in all areas of compensation law to his new role, appearing in both District and Supreme Court matters. In addition, Mr Watt has advised on matters before the Dust Diseases Tribunal and Personal Injury Commission.

Commenting off the back of the appointment, Kells managing partner Paul Magagnino described Mr Watt as an experienced and talented compensation lawyer who will be a real asset to the firm.

“We are very pleased with James’ commitment to care for clients who have been wrongfully or accidentally injured. Our clients will benefit from both James’ experience and a drive for results,” Mr Magagnino said.

Mr Watt said he was excited to join the firm as an associate.

“I am delighted to be joining Kells and excited to be part of the team going forward,” he said.

“Having known the firm, I have always respected and admired Kells for their commitment to their clients and teamwork.”
