PETER BLOCK has joined Minter Ellison as a partner in the projects and finance practice in Melbourne.

Prior to joining the firm, Block had spent a considerable part of his career based in London and Vietnam. During his five years in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Block worked on most of the leading deals developed in the country, including acting on all of the power stations that were completed using foreign direct investment.

He also has considerable experience acting for participants in the development and financing of greenfield projects (including BOTs, BOOTs and BTs), particularly in the areas of energy, oil and gas, telecommunications and large, complex infrastructure projects.
