BOOSTING ITS presence in Western Australia, Deacons has appointed Jehann Mendis as a senior associate in the firm’s corporate and commercial team in Perth.

Mendis, who was previously at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, has considerable experience working with the mining industry, and his appointment will bolster the firm’s capacity in the resources sector. Mendis will work with partner Liz Allnutt and Shaun McRobert, who heads up the firm’s Perth corporate and commercial team.
