CONSTRUCTION AND engineering law specialist Gordon Smith has been appointed as a special counsel at Allens Arthur Robinson in Perth.

Smith joins the firm’s projects team, assisting with construction and major infrastructure projects. He has broad international and domestic experience in major front-end and back-end transactions. He was previously a partner with DLA Piper in Singapore and Hong Kong, and before that was with Baker & McKenzie in Singapore. He also has considerable arbitration experience, having conducted arbitrations in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Jakarta.
