QUEENSLAND FIRM Carter Newell has brought on experienced commercial insurance lawyer Philip Glaister as a special counsel.

Glaister has specialised in insurance and commercial litigation for more than 20 years. His past experience includes being appointed to the panel of several Lloyd’s of London Syndicates and of a Queensland-based national insurer.

He has acted for underwriters in complex disputes arising from large transactional property and development claims, particularly for financiers, professional advisers and related parties. Glaister has particular expertise in the area of professional liability.
