Insync Technology bought by Netherlands-based cloud specialist

Australian law firm Maddocks has advised the owners of Insync Technology on its acquisition by Rapid Circle.

Key players: The legal team advising Insync Technologies was led by Maddocks partner Duncan Hall and senior associate Bernardo Wood. The matter was referred to Maddocks by its corporate advisers, SCD Advisory.

Deal significance: Insync Technologies is an Australian-based Microsoft partner who works with businesses to use Microsoft tools to create modern workplaces. Formed in 2013, Insync Technologies holds offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and generate revenue of $12 million per year.

Meanwhile, Rapid Circle is a Netherlands-based Microsoft cloud specialist.

Rapid Circle’s acquisition of Insync Technologies is designed to grow its foothold in the Australian market.

According to Maddocks lead partner on the deal Mr Hall, the transaction represented another deal in a regular stream of IT-related transactions the firm has been involved in over the past 12 months.
