NSW Police secure ‘once-in-a-generation’ operating system
The NSW Police Force have secured a new integrated policing operating system with legal assistance from independent firm Maddocks.

Deal significance: NSW Police Force Commissioner Michael Fuller signed a contract with US-based public safety software provider Mark43 for the procurement by NSW Police Force of Mark43’s core operational technology solution.
The contract concludes a rigorous two-and-a-half year multi-staged and large-scale procurement process for an integrated policing operating system (IPOS), which will include call-taking, dispatch, records, investigations and forensics modules.
Mr Goodall commented: “We are really pleased to have assisted long-time client NSW Police Force on this significant, once-in-a-generation transformation of its core technology platform, which will be of enormous benefit to NSW Police Force’s 18,000 sworn officers and the NSW community.”
