Perth-based Panetta McGrath Lawyers has told Lawyers Weekly it will officially complete a merger with fellow Western Australian law firm O'Sullivan Partners.

The former has been in the market since 2009, specialising in health and aged care law, insurance law and employment and workplace relations law. Its merging with O'Sullivan Partners, which was founded in 2002, will see its expertise bolstered in the litigation space.

The move will see motor vehicle personal injury insurance lawyers Colin O'Sullivan and Leanne Bishop, along with their legal and support team, fall under the Panetta McGrath Lawyers banner.

Commenting on the upcoming combination, Enore Panetta, Panetta McGrath Lawyers’ director, noted the synergies between the two firms.

“We are pleased to welcome Colin, Leanne and their team to Panetta McGrath, he said.

Their expertise in insurance and motor vehicle matters will complement our existing practices and strengthen service offerings to our clients.

Colin and Leanne share a similar culture and philosophy to our own and we look forward to welcoming them to the team.”

Echoing this sentiment, Mr O'Sullivan described his excitement for the opportunities the combination presents.

“We look forward to adding our practice to Panetta McGrath’s highly regarded offering to the WA community, he said.

Panetta McGrath’s culture and approach to legal practice closely aligns with our own and our team is excited by the opportunities the merger presents.
