BEN SANDSTAD has returned to Clayton Utz to join its Sydney structured capital markets team as a partner. Sandstad, who began his legal career before moving to the UK, brings to Clayton Utz significant experience in diverse asset classes in a range of jurisdictions.

His previous experience includes working in the Hong Kong and Tokyo offices of international firm Linklaters, where he advised on high-profile transactions across a range of Asian markets.

In his new role he will be focusing on securitisation, structured finance and derivative transactions.
