GADENS HAS expanded its Brisbane property and corporate teams with the appointment of senior associate Phillip Canning and solicitor Fiona Vidler.

Canning, who has joined the property team, is an environment and planning law specialist. He brings to Gadens more than 20 years’ experience in all facets of local government administration, and in particular, an extensive knowledge of development compliance and town planning litigation.

Vidler has joined the corporate advisory team. She has wide-ranging corporate, competition and consumer protection experience which she gained working in private practice in Brisbane and Sydney and at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Queensland Office of Fair Trading.

She also has policy experience, having worked at the Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet.
