LESLEY MACLOU has joined Harmers Workplace Lawyers as a partner to head up the firm’s Melbourne office.

 
 

Maclou has more than 10 years’ experience in workplace relation law, on top of general commercial and corporate law experience extending across the jurisdictions of Australia, the UK, the US, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Her previous roles include establishing the employment law practice in the London office of an Australian law firm, and she was also the director of a London law firm heading up its employment law practice.

She has worked across a wide spectrum of workplace relations law matters, ranging from attending to local businesses’ needs in relation to industrial relations, general employment and HR law, health and safety, change management, restructuring and litigation, to supporting and advising multinational clients with respect to managing and restructuring their global workforces and expanding their business in new jurisdictions and markets.

She has worked across a diverse range of industries including banking and finance, pharmaceuticals, industry and manufacturing, retail, construction, racing and gaming, media, sports, fashion, automotive, education, engineering and IT.
