TWO SOLICITORS have joined Brisbane firm Barry & Nilsson, practising in the areas of family law and insurance.

Sally Cooper has joined the firm’s family law team, having practised in the areas since her admission in 2005. Sally has expertise in out-of-court dispute resolution, but she is also experienced in conducting interim hearings in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court as well as in general advocacy in the State Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts. She is particularly interested in complex property matters and drafting financial agreements.

Joining the firm’s insurance team, Charles Hartley has more than 10 years’ experience working as a litigator in London. He specialises in the area of medical negligence and he has successfully defended a number of high-value insurance claims.
