Mason Ledger welcomes new senior associate
Mason Ledger has appointed a new senior associate, working across its employment and workplace relations and litigation and dispute resolution teams.

Prior to joining Mason Ledger, Nicholas Parkinson was a lawyer assisting with the Inquiry into the City of Perth.
“Nick adds further depth to our rapidly growing practice group, as we continue winning some significant litigation and disputes matters from the traditional national/international law firms.”
As the solicitor assisting the City of Perth inquiry panel, Mr Parker appeared at private and public hearings as counsel assisting the inquiry, to examine witnesses and be heard on applications for orders made by parties before the inquiry.
Before that, he specialised in employment law and workplace relations at a boutique Western Australian firm.
He will remain at the City of Perth inquiry panel on secondment from Mason Ledger, before joining his new team in the coming months.
Mr Parkinson gained exposure to a range of commercial and administrative law disputes, with the inquiry having all the powers of a royal commission.
According to the firm he has had conduct of matters in the Supreme Court of WA, the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Fair Work Commission, the WA Industrial Relations Commission, the Industrial Magistrates Court of WA, the Australian Human Rights Commission and the Equal Opportunity Commission of WA.
“Nick truly fits our firm’s mould of hiring great people, who also happen to be exceptional lawyers,” said Carla Vinciullo, a partner in the firm’s employment and workplace relations group.
“For us, both are equally important as we strive to build a values-driven team. In addition to bringing some outstanding experience to our practice groups, Nick is a really genuine guy and we’re very excited about working with him”.
