Brewery giant advised on acquisition of craft beer business
Carlton & United Breweries has been advised on its acquisition of Gold Coast craft beer business Balter Brewing Co.

Key players: The JWS team was led by partner Sophia Bobeff, who was supported by associates Will Mason, Claudia Scardigno and Rebecca Proudman. Partner Stewart Grieve advised on the tax elements of this transaction along with special counsels Julian Wan and Kathryn Bertram.
Deal significance: Ms Bobeff said the firm was proud to support CUB on another strategic transaction.
