The event was part of the 2019 Blackmores Running Festival with teams running a 10-kilometre course that finished at the Opera House in support of the Australian

Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF). Holding Redlich said it was a “great success”.

Sydney managing partner Stephen Trew said he was very proud of the team’s efforts and the “impressive amount that has been raised”.

“This has proven to be a very successful team effort with a substantial amount raised for a wonderful cause,” Mr Trew said.

“Overall, the ACRF ended up as the seventh top charity in terms of total funds raised, and Holding Redlich finished as the sixth highest fundraising ‘team’ across the entire Sydney Running Festival. This is an amazing achievement.”

In the lead up to the event, a series of training and fundraising events was organised, including a presentation at Holding Redlich’s Sydney office by the ACRF.

Additionally, there was a running clinic with Athletics Australia coach Jim Owens.

Senior associate Ashleigh Mills said: “The weather was perfect and you could feel the real sense of team spirit among the group.”
