Colin Biggers & Paisley insurance team grows by 3
Colin Biggers & Paisley has appointed a special counsel and two senior associates to its ranks to strengthen its insurance practice. They are the latest in a string of hires for the firm, aimed at increasing its focus on insurance practice.

Special counsel Samala Nancarrow and senior associates Christopher Harrison and George Williams have contributed to a 15 per cent growth in the team since January.
Ms Nancarrow joins the firm’s Melbourne team with “extensive experience” in workers’ compensation, public liability personal injury claims and historical abuse claims.
Mr Harrison has experience in general liability, personal injury claims, CTP damages, disciplinary proceedings and TPD benefit and will join the firms’ Sydney office.
Joining the Brisbane office is Mr Williams, who has a focus on general liability, casualty and professional indemnity, as well as insurance litigation. The firm said he has more than 10 years’ experience advising clients, “including major insurers on the defence of public liability and workers’ compensation personal injury claims”.
“Our ability to attract and nurture talent means that we can continue to offer our clients a broad range of expertise from our highly skilled professionals,” Mr Crennan said.
“The appointments of Samala, Christopher and George will further strengthen these capabilities across our three offices along the eastern seaboard.”
