Clutz continues celebration of art
Clayton Utz has launched its first art exhibition for the year, showcasing the work of two contemporary artists in its Melbourne office.

2013 Archibald finalist Heidi Yardley has been joined by internationally acclaimed artist Rhys Lee in hanging their work at the firm’s 333 Collins Street offices, Clayton Utz has said.
Mr Lee’s contemporary works have been placed in group exhibitions in the Ian Potter Museum and the Art Gallery of NSW.
The exhibition is part of the Clayton Utz Art Partnership, established in 2017, which sees the law firm collaborate with a number of Australian artists.
More than 100 employees and guests attended the Victorian launch last month, with 79 artworks on display by Ms Yardley and Mr Lee.
Guests were also given the opportunity to meet the artists behind the creations and hear about both Ms Yardley and Mr Lee’s individual styles and creative approach in a Q&A session hosted by broadcaster Richard Morecroft.
Deputy chief executive partner Bruce Cooper said he was delighted to welcome both artists to the Clayton Utz Art Partnership.
“We take great pride in the Clayton Utz Art Partnership, which is special to us on many levels,” Mr Cooper exclaimed.
“It gives us an opportunity to engage with the Australian visual arts community and to bring the work of both established and emerging artists to audiences in a setting different to the ordinary,” he continued.
“It gives our people and our clients a unique perspective on Australian art which will hang in our office for six months, and the chance to connect in ways that are outside the expectations our clients may have of a law firm.”
“We look forward to the launch of our next exhibition in Sydney in April,” Mr Cooper said.
