2 new additions for Barry.Nilsson
Barry.Nilsson has strengthened its insurance and health team with the announcement of two new senior appointments to expand the firm’s public and products liability offering.

Katie Swain has joined the Melbourne office of the firm as a consultant after previously holding a partnership position at Lander & Rogers. Christian Breen is now part of the Sydney office in a special counsel role. He was previously a senior associate at Carter Newell.
Mr Breen has spent the last 10 years working in insurance law and litigation. He has expertise in general liability, aviation liability and complex litigation, and represents Australian and international corporate clients. Primarily acting for listed and unlisted public companies, large private companies and government enterprises, Mr Breen has operated across a broad range of industries, including aviation, retail, strata, tourism and hospitality.
In welcoming Ms Swain and Mr Breen to the firm, Barry.Nillson’s managing director Don Leembruggen said that “both Katie and Christian are leaders in their fields and welcome additions to our ever-expanding national liability team.”
As the firm expands, Barry.Nillson’s focus continues to be on recruiting talented, client-centric lawyers, he also said.
