Mid-tier firm Swaab Attorneys have announced internal promotions across five of its practice groups.
The Sydney-based firm has promoted two lawyers to special counsel and seven lawyers to senior associate, across its employment, litigation, intellectual property and technology, commercial, corporate and property, planning and projects teams.
The new senior associates are Timothy Hardwick (litigation), Alyce Johnson and Daniel Kentwell (property, planning and projects), William Kontaxis (corporate), Caterina Meduri (litigation), Simon Obee (employment) and James Skelton (IP, technology and commercial).
Swaab managing partner Mary Digiglio said it is always exciting to share the progression of people through the firm.
These mid-year promotions, she said, were particularly rewarding as the firm was elevating a record nine fee-earners.
“I would like to recognise each lawyer’s contribution to the firm and their commitment in providing the highest standard of service to our clients,” she said.
“Each lawyer has a diverse skillset and brings a unique perspective to assist clients. These promotions are a career milestone and are evidence of the dedication of our people.”
The promotions were effective as of 1 July.
