Martin Lovell has been welcomed to the Piper Alderman partnership, taking to its corporate and financial services team based in Adelaide.

Throughout his career, Mr Lovell has built up expertise in the projects and finance space, having acted on major property and infrastructure developments, grid connected battery projects and project finance transactions.

He is also highly regarded for his expertise in corporate finance, personal property securities and trusts law, according to a statement from Piper Alderman.

“The number of senior appointments we have made recently reflects the areas where we believe real opportunities lie,” said Piper Alderman managing partner Tony Britten-Jones.

“These opportunities are driving our growth and development. We are delighted to be enhancing our next generation of leading lawyers by making these lateral and internal appointments.”

Commenting on his decision to join the firm, Mr Lovell said he was keen to join a national firm with a stellar reputation in the market.

“I’m excited to be a part of the growth of its highly regarded projects and financial services teams,” he said.

“I know my existing clients will benefit from the depth of expertise and resources the firm provides.”

Mr Lovell’s appointment come after the 2017 appointment of Robert Riddell, who joined the firm as a partner, and Daniel Fitzpatrick, who came on board as special counsel.
