Melbourne firm recruits property specialist
An established Melbourne law firm has appointed a new special counsel in its property practice.

KCL Law recently announced that it has appointed Darren Vance (pictured below) as a special counsel in its property team.
He was previously a senior associate at Thomson Geer, and has also worked for HWL Ebsworth and the Office of the Australian Government Solicitor.
Mr Vance has advised landlords and tenants across Australia and New Zealand on a wide range of property matters. His practice at KCL will focus on lease and tenancy-related transactions and dispute resolution.
Mark Yaskewych, principal lawyer and head of KCL’s property team, said Mr Vance’s expertise would be a great addition to the firm.
“Since the firm was established in 1981, the firm has been recognised for its quality property and leasing advice,” Mr Yaskewych said.
“I am confident that Darren’s appointment will continue to build on the firm’s reputation in this area.”
